Tim Silvera

Founder & President
Optimum Comp Advantage, Inc.

Tim is a total rewards expert with over 25 years of corporate and consulting experience in designing and implementing innovative total rewards practices that engage employees to drive business results and build results-driven cultures.

His expertise includes executive and broad-based compensation, variable pay design, performance management and sales compensation. Tim’s experience spans domestic as well as global compensation in high-tech, life sciences, medical device, real estate, manufacturing, energy, mining, retail, outsourcing, healthcare and many other industries.

Graduate of California State University, Hayward with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in HR and finance. Tim also holds the following designations: Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Global Professional in Human Resources, Master Human Capital Strategist and Executive HR Professional from Stanford University.

Glenn Norden

Director, Consulting Operations

Glenn is a compensation expert with 15+ years leading the development, deployment and administration of global executive and broad-based compensation practices, sales compensation programs, and automated HR tools at both profit and non profit organizations.

His experience includes global market analysis and competitive valuation of pay practices for multiple global companies in the insurance, education, manufacturing, travel, defense and consulting industries. Glenn has led the development, communication, deployment and administration of global sales incentive plans in numerous companies. Through detailed modeling he is able to demonstrate anticipated and actual productivity and financial impacts of new incentive plan designs.

Graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management. Glenn holds the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.

Jolene McKee

Compensation Consultant

Jolene is a lead consultant who has 4+ years of experience building career track job structures, market pricing jobs, developing competitive base pay ranges and writing company-wide and sales incentive plans for small high-growth, mid-market and large sized organizations in the life sciences, technology, construction, restaurants and hospitality, retail and wholesale, pharmaceutical, professional services, professional associations, banking, non-profit, higher education, manufacturing, web-services, medical device and healthcare Industries. Jolene also has experience with both executive and global compensation.

Jolene is a graduate from San Diego State University with a BS in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources and a minor in Leadership. Jolene is currently completing the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.

Jack Kelly

Vice President, Business Development

Jack has worked with B2B sales teams for over 30 years. Jack has sold into some of the largest corporations in the world including UPS, Qualcomm, Intel, Experian, Allstate and many more. Jack has helped numerous businesses move from a startup to acquisition since starting the Corlea Group in 2009. Jack has helped set up multiple sales compensation and incentive plans providing him a realistic understanding of what works to align a sales organization to the company goals and motivate sales teams to exceed their targets.

In addition to helping sales leaders and sales teams thrive Jack serves as chairman of the board of trustees of the San Diego/Hawaii Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as a Trustee on the National Foundation Board for Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity where he serves on the Development Committee. Jack earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego. Jack is married with two kids and resides in beautiful San Diego, California where golf, baseball and dance take up his free time.

Joe Alvarez

Joe has experience building career track job structures, market pricing jobs, and creating competitive base pay ranges for small high-growth and mid-market companies in the life sciences, technology, retail and wholesale, manufacturing, banking, and healthcare Industries. Before joining OCA, Joe held HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition positions at Loan Depot and CareerStaff Unlimited.

Joe is a graduate of University of Oregon with a BS in Psychology and a minor Business Management. Joe is working on the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.

Ashley Starms

Compensation Analyst

Ashley is a compensation professional with over 4 years of experience market pricing jobs, administering STI/LTI equity and cash-based compensations plans in the technology, healthcare, and financial services industries. Prior to joining OCA, Ashley held positions across the HR function, including roles in Executive Compensation, HR Shared Services, broad-based Compensation and Employee Recognition.

Ashley graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a B.A. in Psychology. She is currently working towards the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.

Michaela Barney

Before joining OCA, Michaela held administrative roles within the property management, hospitality, and construction industries.
